Emma Finch is based in Manchester having started as a keen camera club member. She has now been a successful professional portrait portrait photographer for the last 10 years. She has received many awards during this time and passed on her knowledge and many tips in her talk to PSCC. Dealing with children of all ages can present a number of problems particularly with the youngest but she had a number of tricks up her sleeve to get the best images from them. She much preferred shooting in natural light outdoors and in natural surroundings. She discussed the best times to shoot, the best lighting, the best poses and the best clothing etc. Her talk was illustrated with some excellent images. This was effectively a masterclass in child portraiture.
