This was the first competition of the new season judged by Ken Payne on his first visit to the club. There were 38 images on the night and Ken gave a very constructive critique on each during the first half of the evening before whittling down the numbers into a shortlist from which the final decisions were made. 6 images were commended, 5 were highly commended and the winning image was of an owl taken by Michael Webb. Many congratulations to Mike for his first competition win!
After the judging was completed there was time for Ken to introduce us to his very comprehensive list of online tutorials for all of the leading processing software. The link for this is https://www.uppofgb.com/tutorials.html and is well worth looking at.
